Fires Continue in Syunik Province

On December 29, at 15:04, the '911' service received a report that a haystack was burning near the culture house in the village of Harjis, Syunik Province.

A firefighting unit consisting of two fire engine crews from the regional emergency response department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that the fire had ignited in front of one of the houses on 8th Street in the village.

The fire was contained by 17:25 and extinguished by 18:01. Approximately 700 hay bales were burned.
