Deputy Minister Accused of Bribery Appointed as Advisor to the Director of Republic Hospital
Former Deputy Minister of Health Arsen Davtyan, who is accused of receiving a particularly large bribe, has been appointed as an advisor to the director of the Republic Hospital. This news was confirmed today, December 30, in an interview with NEWS.am by the hospital's deputy director, Harutyun Davtyan.
It is reminded that Arsen Davtyan, being a public official, received a particularly large bribe for providing patronage in the line of duty and facilitating certain actions by using his official position. He received bribes from Razmik Abrahamyan, the director of the Republican Institute of Reproductive Health, Perinatology, Obstetrics, and Gynecology.
It should also be noted that the former deputy minister's arrest was changed to bail, and he has been released from custody.
