Rescuers Extinguish Major Fire

On December 26, at 07:15, firefighting efforts resumed in the area known as "Pat Kar" in the village of Gndzakar. An operational group from the regional crisis management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, two firefighting units from the regional rescue department, and 20 rescuers were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 11:57 and extinguished by 17:59. Approximately 1 hectare of vegetation was burned. Additionally, one employee from the "Hayantar" SNCO's Ijevan forest enterprise and 11 residents of Gndzakar village participated in the firefighting efforts.
