Fire in Askeran: Two-Story Residential House Destroyed

On December 24, at 13:55, the crisis management center received a call from the emergency situations department of the Askeran region reporting that at 13:54, the firefighting unit of the emergency situations department had been dispatched to the Avetaranoc community in Askeran to extinguish a fire that had erupted. Subsequently, at 13:58, another firefighting unit of the emergency situations service was sent to assist.

The fire was extinguished by 17:55, as reported by the State Emergency Situations Service of Artsakh. Preliminary data indicates that a two-story residential house was partially burned. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being investigated.
