Residents Voluntarily Surrender Weapons and Ammunition
The police's fight against the illegal possession of weapons and ammunition is ongoing and daily. In addition to the discovery and confiscation of firearms, explanatory work is being conducted, which has proven to be effective.
A case of surrendering an "SVT" type firearm has been recorded at the Armavir police department. The firearm was brought in by a resident of Armavir city along with a magazine and ammunition chain, thanks to the explanatory work conducted by the department's minor affairs officers. A forensic examination has been ordered.
Operational and investigative measures, along with the explanatory efforts, continue.
