Pedestrian Accident Near Republic Square: 15-Year-Old Injured in Serious Condition

On December 23, at 20:21, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call through the 911 service reporting a pedestrian accident occurred in the area between Republic Square and Sakharov Square in Yerevan.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Yerevan Rescue Directorate was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that Alik S. had struck 19-year-old Hovhannes K. with his Mercedes C automobile.

The victim has been hospitalized at St. Astvatsamayr Medical Center, where doctors have assessed his health condition as serious.
