Ruben Hayrapetyan's Company Committed Abuses in Stadium Construction: NSS

The National Security Service of Armenia has launched an investigation into alleged abuses committed by the "Zeytuni Furniture Factory" LLC, owned by the former president of the Football Federation of Armenia, Ruben Hayrapetyan, during the construction of sports fields.

According to the NSS, large-scale investigative and procedural actions were carried out in collaboration with the Armenian police's Criminal Investigative Department. Evidence was gathered related to violations that occurred from 2012 to 2018 during the fulfillment of contracts with the Football Federation of Armenia for the construction and renovation of football fields and sports schools in the administrative areas of Sisian, Sevan, Vanadzor, Armavir, Vagharshapat, Gyumri, and the Nerk'in Karmir Aghbyur community.

It has been stated that the director of "Zeytuni Furniture Factory" LLC and an employee responsible for technical supervision from the Football Federation of Armenia allegedly collaborated with the intent to embezzle funds through fraudulent means while using their official positions to facilitate the theft of substantial amounts from the client, the Football Federation of Armenia.
