Emergency Incident in Tavush Province: Nissan Driver Hits UAZ and Flees, Injured Taken to Hospital
Today, December 23, an emergency incident occurred in Tavush Province. Around 20:30, the driver of a Nissan Tiida with plate number 36 GP 192 struck a UAZ vehicle with plate number 35 ZL 762 in the administrative area of Koghb community and fled the scene.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the UAZ overturned as a result of the collision. Three individuals with bodily injuries were transferred to the medical center in Noyemberyan.
Personnel from the 2nd police battalion's 5th platoon of the road police arrived at the scene, led by platoon commander Smbat Norekyan. The operational group from the Noyemberyan police station also arrived.
Shamshyan reports that shortly after the incident, Senior Inspector Karen Ulikhanyan and Inspector Edgar Hovhannisyan from the 5th platoon of the 2nd police battalion discovered the Nissan hidden in the vicinity of the St. John Church.
