Major Accident Near the Well-Known 'Zodi Bridge'

On December 19, a serious car accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 11:00 AM, vehicles collided on the Ararat-Yerashkh highway, specifically at the 1st km section near the gold extraction factory.

The incident involved a 41-year-old Romeo Tevanyan, driving an Opel Astra with license plate 27 SS 846, and a 32-year-old Gor Petrosyan, driving a ВАЗ 2107 with license plate 66 GP 996. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the ВАЗ flipped over as a result of the collision.

As a result of the accident, a passenger in the ВАЗ, 56-year-old Melanya Simonian from the village of Armesh, was taken to the 'Ararat' medical center with injuries.
