Earthquake Recorded in Stepanakert City

On December 20, at 08:00 local time (04:00 GMT), the seismic network of the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations registered an earthquake at geographical coordinates 40.200 latitude and 47.120 longitude (16 km south of Barda city in the Azerbaijan- Artsakh border area), with a depth of 10 km and a magnitude of 3.0.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that the intensity of the underground shock in the epicentral zone reached 4 points. The earthquake was felt in Stepanakert city with an intensity of 3-4 points.
