Bail Applied to One of the Accused in the Illegal Adoption Case of Children

In the criminal case regarding the illegal adoption of children by foreigners, bail has been applied as a measure of restraint for one of the accused. This was reported by the Investigative Committee.

Within the framework of the criminal case launched due to the illegal adoptions of children by foreigners, the court today approved the investigator's motion for the arrest of a resident of Yerevan, born in 1976, while also permitting the application of an alternative measure of restraint, bail.

It is noteworthy that this individual has been charged under Parts 1 and 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
