Razmik Abrahamyan Transferred to Armenia Medical Center in Critical Condition, Says Lawyer

Razmik Abrahamyan, who was arrested in connection with an illegal adoption case involving newborns, has been transferred to Armenia Medical Center in critical condition.

This was stated by his lawyer Samvel Dilbandyan in response to a query from 'Haykakan Zhamanak.' 'After the arrest, my client's health deteriorated significantly, and he was transferred to Armenia Medical Center in extremely serious condition. He is currently in the intensive care unit of the cardiology department,' he said.

In response to our question, the lawyer added, 'His blood pressure and blood sugar levels have risen so much that he does not feel adequate.' According to the lawyer, Abrahamyan suffers from heart failure and had a stroke situation, with blood sugar spikes and blood pressure reaching 200. 'He is in quite a severe condition. I'm concerned that if he continues to be held under detention, a 76-year-old man is unlikely to survive in such conditions.'
