Major and Tragic Car Accident Near Bagratashen Customs Post

A major and tragic car accident has occurred in the Tavush region. Around 12:10 PM, at the 4th kilometer of the Bagratashen-Vanadzor highway, vehicles with license plates 35 TD 558 (Opel) and TT 3198 (Honda) collided.

According to shamshyan.com, the driver of the Opel died on the spot, while his passenger was hospitalized with injuries.

Officers from the 2nd platoon of the 5th battalion of the Road Police, Senior Inspectors Ararat Avetyan and Furmam Norekyan, have arrived at the scene.
