Hayk Sargsyan Addresses the Global Armenian Community

Member of the National Assembly from the "My Step" faction, Hayk Sargsyan, held a press briefing with journalists in the Ararat region today, discussing his legislative initiative which proposes that individuals can serve in the army for just one month in exchange for 10 million drams.

The lawmaker decided to address the global Armenian community directly in front of the cameras: "Dear compatriot, if you wish to return to the Republic of Armenia but are unable to do so for various reasons—because serving two years in Armenia contradicts your current lifestyle—and if you find it appropriate to return and serve through an accelerated process by paying the legally set amount, please inform me about it. Share this information on your social media pages, and also send it to me separately."

Hayk Sargsyan expressed that if only a few people respond to his message, he will withdraw his legislative proposal.
