Court Rejects Defense Motion of David Sanasarian
The Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction has rejected the motion by the defense of David Sanasarian, the former head of the State Oversight Service, to terminate the case against him.
It is noteworthy that Sanasarian has been charged with abuse of official power.
The defense had presented the motion to terminate the case and appealed to the Constitutional Court, arguing that Article 4.2 regarding the national security investigative bodies, as well as the government's decision to establish their structure, are in contradiction with the Constitution.
