The spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, made a post on Facebook regarding the conferment of ranks to girls who participated in training camps under the reserve preparation program.

"Eight girls who participated in the training camps have been awarded the military rank of lieutenant by the order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. The newly promoted lieutenants are graduates of the Military Department of Shiraz Pedagogical University. Congratulations to you, dear girls. I was confident since May that you deserve this," he stated.
