Public Spending on Healthcare to Increase by 32%
According to the draft of the 2020 state budget approved by the Government yesterday, which will be presented to the National Assembly, the healthcare budget amounts to 111 billion drams, which is nearly 19 billion drams more than the 2019 budget, and 27 billion drams more than the 2018 budget.
This was announced by Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan on his Facebook page. "Thus, we can state that public spending on healthcare has seen an unprecedented increase of 32% in just two years. We will discuss new budgetary programs next," the minister noted in his post.
