Prosecutor's Office Will Not Initiate Criminal Proceedings Against Judge Alvina Gyulumyan Following Attack Incident
The Special Investigation Service has prepared materials regarding the incident of blocking the entrances to the courts, including the Constitutional Court, and has decided to reject the initiation of a criminal case, as stated in response to Aysor.am's inquiry from the press service of the RA Prosecutor General's Office.
"The decision has been appealed to the superior prosecutor, and as a result of the discussion on 20.06.2019, a decision was made to reject the initiation of a criminal case. This decision has been appealed to the court," said the Prosecutor General's Office.
It is noteworthy that supporters of second President Robert Kocharyan were detained for walking past Judge Anna Danibekyan and asking questions during a live broadcast, while the Prosecutor's Office has even rejected the initiation of a criminal case regarding the incident of an attack on Judge Alvina Gyulumyan by supporters of the authorities.
