Ararat Cement LLC Halts Construction of Cement Production Plant in Kapan Community

Ararat Cement LLC has decided to halt the construction processes of a cement production plant in the Kapan community. This announcement was made public by the Board of Directors of the Multi Group Concern.

The announcement is as follows:

Dear compatriots, as you are aware, Ararat Cement LLC had planned to construct a cement grinding facility in the Kapan community. According to the law, public hearings were to be organized in the community; however, their implementation has been obstructed for about 2 years by local NGOs and residents.

The Board of Directors of the Multi Group Concern, considering the consistently expressed viewpoint of the concern's owner, Gagik Tsarukyan, that every issue should heed the wishes of the people, has decided to suspend the construction processes for the cement plant in the Kapan community.
