Video: Sewage Water Has Been Accumulating in Military Base for About 6 Months
On September 16, at 10:36 AM, the "911" emergency service received a report that sewage water is accumulating in the territory of a military base located on the road from Nerkhin Charbakh in Yerevan to the city of Masis in the Ararat province. Assistance was requested. This information was provided to Yerkir.am by the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
MES operational group and the on-duty chemical reconnaissance officer have been dispatched to the scene. It has been determined that sewage water has filled the territory of the RA Ministry of Defense's military unit number N and the surrounding area (a total of 2 hectares).
According to the head of the military station, the sewage water began to accumulate about 6 months ago when unknown individuals dismantled sewage pipes nearby. Chemical gas analyzers were used to conduct reconnaissance of the area; no extraordinary deviations were detected.
The information received has been forwarded to a specialist in the urban development and communal department of the regional administration.
