VIDEO: Inspection Visits to Possible Gathering Places of Prostitutes

In an effort to prevent prostitution, the police regularly conduct inspection visits to potential gathering places of sex workers. The latest inspections were carried out during the nights of September 15 and 16.

During the operation, employees of subdivisions under the Yerevan City Police, including the patrol service, identified a total of 28 individuals suspected of engaging in prostitution in various administrative districts of Yerevan. The aim of these operations is to prohibit sex workers from establishing gathering places.

In these areas, sex workers and their visitors disturb public tranquility, engage in shouting, cursing, and arguing, thereby causing discomfort to residents of neighboring buildings. The police's efforts in this direction are ongoing.
