Man Who Stabbed Wife and Neighbor Arrested

On September 14, shortly after midnight, the police department of Nor Nork received a report from the operational management center that a husband had stabbed his wife in one of the apartments in the Avan, Sayat-Nova neighborhood.

When the investigators from the Avan police department arrived at the scene, together with personnel from the patrol service, it was determined that moments earlier, during a quarrel, a 31-year-old resident of the apartment had stabbed his wife, who lived at the same address, as well as a 44-year-old neighbor.

According to the information from the press service of the Republic of Armenia Police, the victims were transported to the hospital with stab wounds to the chest. According to the medical report, they were unable to provide explanations.

A criminal case has been initiated. The 31-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene and has been arrested. A forensic examination has been assigned. The investigation is ongoing.
