Exchanging Azerbaijani Terrorists for Confused Armenian Citizens is Unjustifiable: Defense Ministry Spokesman
Today, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Artur Hornikyan, during a meeting with journalists, responded to a question regarding the possibility of exchanging two Azerbaijani saboteurs located in the "Shushi Correctional Facility" of the Republic of Artsakh for Armenian citizens and servicemen in Azerbaijan. He stated that such an exchange is not justified.
“Perhaps it might be possible, but this step is unjustifiable, as there have been terrorists on the Azerbaijani side who have killed children, while those on our side found in enemy territory are just confused individuals,” he said. “There is also another aspect: we need to clarify whether the Azerbaijani side agrees or not, or whether they want to return everyone in exchange for these two.”
