Nissan Tiida Crashes into Rocks and Falls into Gorge; Driver Hospitalized

On September 11, an accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. At approximately 23:45, a call was received by the Gavar police department from the Gavar Medical Center, reporting that an accident had taken place on the Sevana-Martuni-Getap highway adjacent to the village of Hayravank, and a citizen was transported to the hospital.

Police determined that on the same day, at around 23:20, a 28-year-old resident of Sevan, Anna A., had left the roadway while driving her Nissan Tiida with license plate number 36 GС 618. The incident took place at the 24 km mark of the Sevana-Martuni-Getap highway, where the vehicle collided with rocks and fell into a gorge, resulting in her being taken to the hospital.

The investigation at the scene was led by Senior Investigator Bakur Saribekyan from the 4th platoon of the 2nd traffic police battalion, who is preparing materials on the incident.
