Earthquake Occurs in Azerbaijan
An earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale has occurred in the southern region of Azerbaijan, specifically in Masally, according to information provided by the Republican Center of the Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, as reported by Trend agency.
Preliminary information indicates that the quake struck in an area located 26 kilometers southeast of the Lankaran seismic station around 06:45. The depth of the epicenter of the tremors was recorded at 19 kilometers.
No tremors were felt in the area.
