Accident in Gegharkunik Province: Driver Hospitalized

On September 8, at 00:57, the '911' service was informed about an accident near the fire and rescue squad in Vardenis, Gegharkunik Province. This was reported by the press service of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations.

An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry arrived at the scene.

It was found that on Charents Street, a 'VAZ-2109' vehicle (driver: Davit D., born 1986) collided with a parked 'KAMAZ' truck.

The rescuers extricated the driver from the vehicle and brought him closer to the ambulance. The injured individual was hospitalized at the Vardenis military hospital, where doctors assessed his condition as moderate.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicle from the power supply and closed the gas cylinder valves.
