New Neighborhood of 600 Houses in Yeghvard
The Governor of Kotayk Province, Romanos Petrosyan, announced on his Facebook page that Lebanese Armenian investors plan to build a neighborhood consisting of 600 houses in the Yeghvard region. In his post, he stated, "I just had a working meeting with Lebanese Armenian investors, who intend to construct a neighborhood consisting of 600 houses, which can accommodate up to 2,800 residents. In the area called 'Mayri', seven houses have already been built, while the construction of the remaining houses is underway."
The new neighborhood will feature a kindergarten, an educational complex, a church, shopping centers, and recreational areas. The investors noted that they aim to strengthen the Armenia-Diaspora ties and invited me for a site visit. I gladly accepted the offer, reiterating that I am ready to support any initiative that serves the community's interests and aims to improve the quality of life for citizens.
