Hakob Arshakyan Conducts 'Open Class' at Local School
The Minister of High Technology Industry, Hakob Arshakyan, conducted an 'open class' for high school students during his visit to Yerevan's Number 192 Primary School, coinciding with the Day of Knowledge and Education. He presented the main directions of the newly established ministry, along with Armenia's achievements and future prospects in the high technology industry.
He emphasized that the engineering and technology sector is one of the most advanced and rapidly developing branches of our economy and urged students to pursue education in science-related fields after receiving a solid education at school.
The minister discussed the accessibility of technological products, ways to develop a knowledge-based industry, and possibilities for enhancing Armenia's competitiveness in the global market.
The students posed various questions to Minister Hakob Arshakyan, receiving detailed answers in return. He also promised to assist in establishing a technological club at the school.
Interestingly, the Minister's own school years were spent at Number 192 Primary School.
