Flight from Yerevan to Moscow Makes Emergency Landing in Tbilisi Due to Malfunction
Georg Khachatryan, the deputy director of Armenia Airlines, stated on his Facebook page that during the Yerevan-Moscow NGT 928 flight, an electrical malfunction was detected in the Boeing 737 aircraft. Prioritizing passenger safety, the flight crew made a prudent decision to land at Tbilisi Airport.
"While operating the Yerevan-Moscow NGT 928 flight, an electrical malfunction occurred in the Boeing 737 of Armenia Airlines. The flight crew, valuing passenger safety, made a thoughtful decision to land at Tbilisi Airport, resulting in no injuries to the 118 passengers and crew members on board. Armenia Airlines is taking all necessary steps to resolve the technical issue and ensure the safe flight of passengers to Moscow. The availability of a backup aircraft is also being considered. Once again, our pilots have demonstrated high professionalism, proving that safety is our top priority. Safe travels and smooth landings to all," he wrote.
