Armenian Citizens Stranded in Cyprus Again
We are stranded in Larnaca, Cyprus, and no one can tell us when a plane will come from Armenia for our return. This was stated today, August 30, in an interview with NEWS.am by Kristine Mnatsakanyan, one of the Armenian citizens left in Larnaca.
She shared that they traveled to Cyprus for vacation and were supposed to return today. “According to Cyprus time, our flight was supposed to be at 16:30, meaning we should have been in Armenia by now, but the plane hasn’t arrived. We are told that when the plane comes, then we will go. The entire aircraft’s passengers are sitting at the airport waiting. A while ago, there was a response from the consulate about what they could do to help, but the whole issue is that the plane hasn’t come from Armenia. The Armenian airline, Sputnik Travel, is not answering our calls, and they are also not responding to our messages on their page,” said Kristine Mnatsakanyan.
