‘Zhamanak’. Aside from NSS, the Municipality is Conducting Inspections in the Metro

‘Zhamanak’ newspaper reports: According to information received by ‘Zhamanak’, the National Security Service (NSS) has not yet completed its inspections in the Yerevan Metro. As is known, based on the revealed abuses during the inspections by the NSS, a criminal case is currently being investigated. However, the inspections are still ongoing to this day.

Moreover, according to our sources, in addition to the NSS, the Yerevan Municipality is also conducting inspections in the metro. Everything is being meticulously checked. During these inspections, quite noteworthy incidents are being uncovered. For example, it may be revealed or has already been revealed that for years, ‘illegal’ electricity has been supplied to certain buildings from the metro.

We were informed that for years, a residential building located at the intersection of Republic and Buzand streets, where the mayor Hayk Marutyan currently resides, has also been powered by ‘illegal’ electricity from the metro. Several other well-known figures also live in this building.
