Details from the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the Fire at Malatia Mall: There are Injured

On August 24, at 15:47, a call was received by the "911" service reporting that a fire had broken out in the building of Malatia Mall located on Sebastia Street in Yerevan. There are injured individuals.

Six firefighting units, two aerial ladders, the special operations rescue team from the Rescue Service's operational management unit, as well as emergency response and operational groups from the National Center for Crisis Management, and a psychological counselor from the psychological support division were dispatched to the scene with an emergency level of "Type 2".

At 16:35, the complexity of the fire was raised to "Type 3". An additional four firefighting units were sent to the scene from the Rescue Service’s firefighting administration.

According to preliminary reports, there are three injured as a result of the fire. Additional information will be provided.
