Altercation Among Minors in Abovyan Ends in Stabbing

On July 22, at 10 PM, a report was received from the "Abovyan" medical center indicating that two teenagers, aged 17 and 15, sought medical assistance for "stab wounds to the right shin" and "stab wounds to the left thigh." The police report reveals that the Kotayk police responded and determined that about an hour earlier, the two were stabbed by another 15-year-old resident of Abovyan following a baseless argument on Republic Street in Abovyan.

At 11:40 PM, the suspect was taken into custody, where he provided a confession and handed over the weapon used in the crime, a kitchen knife. Investigations are underway.
