It is Known Who is the Official Arrested in the Supreme Court Bribery Case
New details have emerged regarding the criminal case involving the bribery of an official from the Supreme Court of Armenia, as reported by the newspaper "Zhoghovurd." On July 10, the National Security Service announced that an official from the Supreme Court has been arrested.
"We have learned which judge's case was attempted to be interfered with. According to our information, it concerns Armen Harutyunyan, head of the Criminal Cases Office of the Supreme Court's staff, and the other arrested individual is a former lawyer," the newspaper writes.
Armen Harutyunyan is the head of the Criminal Cases Office at the Supreme Court, and according to the newspaper's information, the bribery was related not to one civil case but rather attempts to interfere with two civil cases.
The publication notes that one of the civil cases in which interference was sought was connected to a civil case reported by Supreme Court Judge Surik Antonian.
