Live: Parliamentary Hearings on Transitional Justice in the National Assembly

The Armenian National Assembly is holding parliamentary hearings titled "Prospects for the Application of Transitional Justice Mechanisms in Armenia" at the initiative of Assembly President Ararat Mirzoyan.

Following Ararat Mirzoyan's opening remarks, Deputy Minister of Justice Anna Vardapetyan will present on the "International Legal Foundations of the Transitional Justice Institute."

Then, ICTJ expert Ruben Karanz will present a report on "Certain Instruments of Transitional Justice."

The President of the Armenian Lawyers' Association, Karen Zadoyan, will also present a report on "The Applicability of Transitional Justice Mechanisms in Armenia in Light of International Experience."

Participants in the hearings will have the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers.
