No Investigative Commission Will Be Established Regarding the April War
The newspaper Hraparak reports: “An investigative commission regarding the April War will not be formed in the National Assembly, as the law on the ‘Regulations of the National Assembly’ stipulates that ‘the powers of an investigative commission in the fields of Defense and Security can only be exercised by the relevant permanent committee of the National Assembly, with the requirement of at least one-third of the total number of deputies.’
In this case, the function will be assumed by the Permanent Commission on Defense, Security, and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly, headed by Andranik Kocharyan.”
