Hayk Ayvazyan Sues Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan
Hayk Ayvazyan, who was recently dismissed from the government, has filed a lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The suit presented to the Armenian Administrative Court calls into question the legality of the Prime Minister's order to dismiss him from the position of head of the office coordinating the activities of supervisory bodies.
In his lawsuit, Ayvazyan has made three demands against the government: he seeks to annul the order of dismissal issued by Nikol Pashinyan, to be reinstated to his position, and to be compensated for the entire duration of his forced idleness due to the unlawful order.
It will be revealed next week whether the court will accept the former official’s lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
It is noteworthy that, according to media reports, the reason for Ayvazyan's dismissal was a conflict with the head of the government staff, Edward Aghajanyan.
