VIDEO: Today there is a program that fully reveals a person's name, surname, address, phone number, and even shoe size, says Pashinyan
During today’s government meeting, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan presented a draft law on amendments to the Law on State Pensions. This was initiated by the ‘Bright Armenia’ parliamentary faction.
Justice Minister Artak Zeynalyan also responded to the discussion, noting that a bedridden person is forced to appear at the bank once a year; otherwise, they cannot use their Pension Card as it will be inactive.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the issue must be solved exclusively through innovative means.
Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies Hakob Arshakyan suggested collaborating to find a technological solution. According to him, there are currently phones that can also address issues related to people’s identification.
Pashinyan added, “Today there are programs where a camera on the street captures a person walking by, revealing their name, surname, address, phone number, shoe size, what they ate yesterday, whom they greeted, which house they visited—everything is recorded. What are we even discussing?”
