Heavy Rain Expected: Possibility of Flooding and Inundations

From May 3-5, changes in weather conditions are forecasted across the territory of Armenia.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that short-term rains and thunderstorms are expected, with hail possible in some areas. In certain locations, the rain could be heavy, which may lead to intense melting of snow reserves.

On May 4-5, flooding and inundations are possible in the Debed, Akhtala, Hrazdan, Kasakh rivers and along the shores of Lake Sevan, as well as in the river basins of Azat, Vedi, and Arpa.
