Rescue Teams Carry Injured Citizen 800 Meters on Foot from Chapel Path
On May 1, at 15:25, the '911' service received a report that a citizen had fallen and broken their leg while ascending to the St. John Chapel in Hartaghu village, Lori province. Rescue teams were needed to bring the injured person down the mountainside.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a firefighting-rescue unit was dispatched to the scene.
The rescuers transported M.G. (born in 1982) on a stretcher approximately 800 meters down the slope and brought them close to the ambulance.
