Passenger Traffic at Shirak Airport Exceeds 200,000 Mark
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during his working visit to Gyumri, also visited the "Shirak" Airport, where the top management of "Armenia" International Airports presented ongoing investment projects to him. It was noted that a program aimed at improving infrastructure and ensuring technical equipment has already been implemented at the Shirak Airport.
This year, new investments are expected to lead to the construction of a new arrivals hall, renovation of the terminal building, and resolution of other logistical issues at the airport. It was highlighted that the annual passenger traffic has already surpassed the 200,000 mark.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the development program for the Shirak Airport and expressed confidence that the overall steps taken towards improving infrastructure in Gyumri will enhance the city's attractiveness, stimulate economic activity, and increase tourism volumes.
