Regarding the purpose of the mayor's use of public transport, his press secretary Hakob Karapetyan stated in an interview with the news outlet, “Hayk Marutyan creates opportunities to walk during the day or to use public transport. Specifically, today he went out during his break to make some payments and decided to travel by public transport to also interact with citizens. The mayor regularly creates such opportunities.”
