Georgian Minister of Defense to Arrive in Yerevan
The Minister of Defense of Georgia, Levan Izoria, will arrive in Yerevan on February 21 for an official one-day visit. This information was reported by Новости-Грузия, citing a representative of the ministry, Nino Tolordava.
“A bilateral cooperation annual program between the Ministries of Defense of Georgia and Armenia will be signed, which includes high-level bilateral strategic visits and collaboration in the fields of education and healthcare,” Tolordava stated.
The last meeting between the heads of the defense departments of Georgia and Armenia took place in Tbilisi in 2016, when the Armenian Minister of Defense was Vigen Sargsyan. At that time, the ministers also signed the annual cooperation program.
