Mass Drone Attack on Several Regions of Russia: Injuries Reported
The unmanned aerial vehicles launched attacks on Moscow, several regions of Russia, and Crimea. According to the authorities in Sevastopol, one of the drones fell on the entrance of a five-story residential building, resulting in two injuries.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported the shooting down of two drones as they approached the capital. During the night and morning, an alert for UAV attacks was declared in the Saratov region, including the Engels area. Reports indicated explosions and the activation of air defense systems. The military airfield 'Engels-2' was also reportedly targeted in the attack.
Explosions were heard in Yaroslavl as well, with reports of hits and fires around an oil refinery.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced new strikes within Ukrainian territory. According to the agency, a warehouse holding 'Flamingo' cruise missiles and fuel for missile boosters was hit in the Kyiv region, and six warehouses containing military equipment were struck at the port of Odesa.
