The Armenian government will respond to the employees of Multi Group tomorrow. This was clarified following a meeting between the protesting employees of Gagik Tsarukyan's enterprises and government representative Hamlet Nazaryan, as reported by News.am.

“It should be noted that this is already the second meeting. During the meeting held on Thursday, Nazaryan promised to convey the government’s response on Monday. Today, Hamlet Nazaryan announced that he would convey the demands (which he also promised to do on Thursday) and would call back in one or two hours to arrange the details for tomorrow's meeting. It is at tomorrow’s meeting that it will become clear when and how the operations of the enterprises will resume.

The protesters have decided to wait and not disperse until they receive a call. Their demands consist of three points: when the facilities will reopen, when the restrictions on employees' accounts will be lifted, and who will cover the costs for the downtime of the facilities.

They emphasize that the downtime has lasted for over a month, leaving them without means for living and repaying the loans required by banks, while the facilities are incurring losses amounting to billions of dram. The situation remains completely uncertain regarding the future as well; for example, hundreds of rooms in the hotels owned by Tsarukyan are booked for the upcoming COP participants expected in the fall, and it is unclear whether the hotels will be able to accommodate their guests or not,” underline the participants of the protest.
