VIDEO: Government Resigns

In accordance with Article 158 of the Constitution, the Government submits its resignation on the first session day of the newly elected National Assembly. This was announced earlier today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Pashinyan signed the resignation of the Government in a video he published. The resignation has been sent to the President of Armenia. He noted that the members of the resigned Government will continue to fulfill their duties, while the President of Armenia will promptly elect a Prime Minister from the candidate of the parliamentary majority after the commencement of the powers of the newly elected National Assembly.
