Water Floods Basement of Building in Davtashen; Approximately 25 Tons Removed
On August 1st, at 05:37, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report at its 112 operational management center stating that a basement of one of the buildings in the 4th district of Davtashen, Yerevan, was being flooded with water. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A firefighting team from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a water pipe located in the yard had been damaged, causing water to flood into the basement under high pressure. The rescuers removed approximately 25 tons of water from the basement.
