Rubio Warns of Catastrophic Consequences in US-China Conflict

The United States does not seek an economic or military conflict with China, as it would lead to disaster for both countries and the entire world, stated U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

“Any conflict between the U.S. and China, whether economic or, God forbid, military, would be catastrophic for both countries and the world,” he said in an interview with Fox News.

Rubio added that Washington “must manage” this situation without sacrificing its own interests. “This is the complexity of foreign policy; every administration has to find a balance between these two opposing forces,” he concluded.
