In several regions of Turkey, including Milas, Fethiye, Menteşe, Kavaklıdere, and Ortaca, outbreaks of fire have been reported, according to Habertürk.

The situation is particularly complicated in the Milas area, where the fire has rapidly spread near the villages of Gyrchamlar and Kazıklı-Bozburun due to strong winds. Firefighting teams and forest service units have been dispatched to the site.

In the Fethiye region, the fire started near Gökçevadığı and has reached İnlice. Ground forces, helicopters, and firefighting aviation are involved in the firefighting efforts. In some areas, temporary evacuations of residents have been carried out.

Another fire has erupted in the Menteşe region, where it has spread from agricultural lands to forested areas. Aircraft, helicopters, firefighting equipment, and emergency service personnel are participating in the containment process.

According to authorities, factors contributing to the spread of the fire include high temperatures, dry vegetation, and strong winds. Rescue services continue to localize hotspots and monitor the situation.

Muğla is one of Turkey's leading tourist provinces, home to popular resorts such as Bodrum, Marmaris, and Fethiye. During the summer months, the region is regularly at risk of forest fires due to drought and extreme heat.

The causes of the fires are under investigation, and law enforcement is checking for possible violations of fire safety regulations.
