Pashinyan's Emphasis on the 102nd Military Base
The 102nd military base in Gyumri must operate within the framework of Armenian legislation, regardless of the laws in force in Russia. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a conversation with reporters, addressing the recent law adopted by the State Duma of the Russian Federation, which allows Russia to use its armed forces to 'protect' Russian citizens abroad.
'The 102nd military base in Gyumri must operate within the laws of the Republic of Armenia and under Armenian jurisdiction; there should not be any concerns regarding this issue,' added Prime Minister Pashinyan.
